The Yarn Mart is located in the Heights at 5711 Kavanaugh Boulevard. The shop has been around for 40+ years and specializes in hand knitting and needlepoint. The Heights is a wonderful, historic neighborhood with lots of shops and restaurant. If you are visiting Little Rock and want to shop where the locals shop, then the Heights and Hillcrest neighborhoods are for you. Although we do not currently have an online store, we gladly take phone order (501.666.6505) and will ship anywhere in the United States.

Store Policies

  1. Return Policy with Original Receipt - Yarn purchased at the Yarn Mart can be returned within 60 days of purchase when accompanied by the original store receipt. The yarn must be in original condition and cannot be wound or used.
  2. Return Policy without Original Receipt - Yarn purchased at the Yarn Mart can be returned within 60 days of purchase for a store credit if it is in original condition and you do not have the receipt.
  3. Instruction at the Table During Regular Business Hours - We are always more than happy to help customers with project problems and issues during regular store hours but please be mindful of the fact that customers that need help with selecting a new project, selecting yarn, and/or needing to checkout are our priority. For involved requests such as ripping, backing out, or teaching complicated stitches, you may be required to have a paid private lesson or attend one of our classes.
  4. Winding Service - The Yarn Mart offers a free yarn winding service. We will be glad to wind your yarn into balls but during busy times, we may ask you to leave the yarn with us and return the next day so we will have the opportunity to wind it.
  5. Project Finishing Service - The Yarn Mart employs a group of master knitters, crocheters, and needlepointers who can be contracted with on a individual basis to finish projects for customers. Examples of finishing work available from our employees is blocking hand knit and crochet items, needlepoint a name on a Christmas stocking, and crocheting a edge on a baby blanket. All finishing services must be paid for in cash or personal check (made out to the individual).
